Students,
Some of you might have heard me discussing an amazing opportunity that is going to take place this winter. I have been invited to speak to other Science teachers about how I use technology in my classroom. I will mainly be discussing the Promethean ActivBoard and Expressions. I want to do my presentation from a students view point. Tell me your thoughts about these two key pieces of technology in my class. If you think that are great THEN EXPLAIN WHY. I am going to explain to these teachers how these pieces have possibly helped you in my science classroom so far this year.

hey i love the active expressions they have really helped me they make test taking easier
They help me in letting us take tests in a more fun way we don’t get bored in using paper and pencil
The active board helps us interact with each other by going to the front of the room and writing with the active pen. the active expressions are fun because we don’t have to use a piece of paper to take a test. We all love using the active expressions and the active board because we get to interact with each other in class.
I think that these two pieces of technology are wonderful things two have in a classroom because it makes it easier for the teacher when we take a quiz and the active board helps us to be able to see in a larger version of what she is doing on her laptop and there are things we can do on the active board like slide our name with the stylus to show that we were present.
I love working with the iPods and watching videos on it!its so fun!I also think that I try harder and it just makes learning more fun.the active is also really cool and we get to not only learn about science but also technology!I hope that more teachers use technology like Ms.Alvey does in the future!

I think they are are both so helpful because it is easy to discuess things as a class I also like them because you can do eveything on the active board so it is easy to read what you wrote
i think the active expressions and the active board are good and bad. they are good because they are fun to use and make it more fun to learn. they are also good because they make it easier to learn. on the down side, they are not good because it takes a longer to do things that shouldn’t tale that long to do such as take quizzes or do worksheets together. it also takes a while to get all of the active expressions out and distribute them to all of the students.
Mrs alvey i think that the expressions really help a lot of kids this year from having to do more paper work and the active board is also very helpful the way you can pull up our agenda and everything
i think that you shoou7ld tell the science teachers that the active board is used for stuff like games and at the same time we are learning something about science but the active expressions is for stuff like test pre test and reviews and its very helpful me because it keeps my hands from hurting by writing so much.
i love the ipods they really make learning more fun for us kids!!! Cause its boring just sitting there looking at a book and reading it word for word !!!!!!!!!! And i LOVE the active expressions also it soooooooo much fun doing power points and tests on it!!! I MEAN MUCH MORE FUN THAN A NORMAL OLD BORING TEST THAT YOU HAVE TO WRITE OR BUBBLE IN THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i relay like the expression there a funner way to take tests and a quiz.
Pluse the activebord is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can put on a video and projects,ect.
The expressions are very very easy to use, and it makes studying for tests pretty fun! I cant wait for the next time we use them!
well like everyone i love the expressions and hope to use them a little more, but i also absoloutly adore the the active board and it’s functions
I love using the expressions to study for tests! It’s sooooooooo much more fun than opening a science book and reading it!
