Parents what did you learn during our Open House?

The Activboard helps us by letting us view flip charts and and instead of us using an old time chalkoard we use the awesome Activboard.
i think that this will help taylor in the future.
Technology is definitely the future. These young adults will certainly be well equipped for their future learning and new careers.
ive learned somethings about people for their flipcharts!!! like the all about me flipcharts!!!! i learned really cool things about people and they learned really cool things about me!!!!!!
i think that having more options for test is a lot more fun and people really enjoy it.
I have learned that the technology class at Gresham Middle has really helped my child understand and adapt to the upcoming technology advances of the world. Technology has become such an essential part of learning the skills that will be necessary for her success. I appreciate the opportunity my child has been given to be a part of such a wonderful program. Thanks to Gresham Middle School and her science teacher Ms. Alvey, Ciona has a new love for science and enjoys learning.

I learned how to use the ipod touch, she says shes more involved with science, it used to be her least favorite subject.
i learned how the Promethean board works and how it helps my daughter learn.
I witnessed how engaged my daughter was using current technology.
The Activ Board has more uses than I had realized before. It also seemed to encourage Matthew to use descriptive language and organize his thoughts in his flip chart and presentation.
Brave New World! What an amazing resource to enthuse and inspire! The world is at their finger tips and the lucky students of 6b are flying through a limitless candy shop of knowledge. What a wondrous say to learn and to start the love affair with learning!
i like the updated computers and the ipods. i blieve these r things they need 2 learn for future purposes. and my daughter loves this class. thank u for making this school yr fun 4 her.
I have been amazed at some of the projects Katelynn has had to do this year. Some of the things she has done have been very complicated, I think, for her age. Example: The pamplet on taking a vacation to a planet using the scientific facts about that planet to sway people to come to that planet on vacation. I was very impressed with that assignment. I don’t even recall having to do something like that in college. Of course, I graduated college in 1989. Technology is way more advanced now! I am glad she is learning to use the internet, email pictures, cut and paste, how to use an active board, the ipod touches, and many things she did not know until this class. I am proud of Katelynn. I think Ms. Alvey is an awesome teacher, and Katelynn really enjoys her class.
